The point of departure for 'Enzo' was to create a pared-down timeless collection, a synergy of honest modern functional design combined with quality craftsmanship and sincere materials. You can see the Purcell Design signature language of folding, wrapping surfaces which clasp and embrace one another. These are accentuated by a reveal detail which separates the doors and draws fronts from the outer shell of the cabinet carcasses. This reveal detail creates a play of shadow which defines the silhouette and separates the surface into their elemental components. A strong grounded eye-catching aesthetic is created whilst simultaneously portraying the affectionate comforting sense of an embrace.
